Food & Nutrition Services offers many options to our residents. Our Certified Dietary Managers (CDMs) and a consulting Registered Dietician (RD) are here to oversee your nutritional needs. We provide nutritional education and recommendations as needed to each of our residents. This includes, but is not limited to, diabetes, cardiac, and renal counseling.
We work closely with our Therapy Department to provide therapeutic diets, altered food consistencies and adaptive equipment as needed for our residents.
There are four dining locations. Dining locations are usually based on the level of care a resident requires. However, if a resident should choose to stay in their room for meals, that can be arranged as well.
We offer a variety of menu options and do everything within our power to meet our residents’ personal preferences. Seasonal foods are offered (i.e. spring/summer and fall/winter menus.) A large variety of our foods are homemade or “made from scratch” versus premade frozen foods.
Guests are encouraged to join their loved ones for meals seven days a week with no prior notice. However, on special occasions and most major holidays, we have special meals that are chosen by Residents’ Council, so we do ask for an advanced reservation on those days.
To look at our Menus, or for more information on guest meals and prices, please see Dining with your Loved Ones.
Any questions or concerns regarding Nutrition Services, please contact the Food Service Supervisor or the Assistant Food Service Supervisor Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 3:00pm or stop by the Nutrition Services Department.
